STATEMENT OF FAITH

Our Foundation of Truth

We Believe

In one loving God who exists eternally as the three persons of the Trinity; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Father Almighty is the Creator, the Supreme Being; through Him all things are made.

Jesus, the Son, is the Christ, the Messiah. He was fully man and is fully God. It is by His example we are to live; loving God completely and loving one another.

The Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, is our Comforter, Counselor and Helper. He is inspiration, revelation and the power behind miracles.

The Holy Bible is the Word of God, setting forth His standards for conduct and doctrine, written by men of old who were guided by the Holy Spirit. It is a God-given manual for living.

The complete Church is comprised of the body of individuals who believe in and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. This "Body of Christ" is one, composed of men and women of every nation, race, age, culture and creed. "That there may be no discord in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another." (1 Cor 12:25)

In the baptism of the Holy Spirit which empowers us for service and sanctified living, manifesting as spiritual gifts which "All these are inspired by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as He wills." (1 Cor 12:11) "And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions. Even upon the menservants and maidservants in those days, I will pour out My Spirit." (Joel 2:28-29, Acts 2:17-18)

We are to strive to show compassion and love at all times and to help those in need; for Christ calls us to "And as you wish that men would do to you, do so to them." (Luke 6:31)

Prayer is powerful, effective communication with God; a way to seek His aid and access His bounty.

Worship is to be powerful, Spirit-filled and uplifting; preparing the way for those who come together to experience the love of God.

In, expect and look forward to Divine Healing which is a gift of God's grace and is not dependent on a person's faith or "deserved-ness". Miracles still happen.
